This is the whole policy: this website does not set cookies. It also writes nothing to local storage or session storage, uses no IndexedDB, no web beacons, no fingerprinting and no device identifiers of any kind. When you close the tab, your browser is exactly as you left it.

Why you are not being asked to consent. Consent is required for storing or reading information on your device when that storage is not strictly necessary. This site stores nothing at all, so there is nothing to ask you about. A banner here would be theatre — and worse, it would train you to click "accept" on sites where it actually matters.

What that means in practice

No analytics. No Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom or anything else. Nobody counts you.
No advertising or retargeting. There is nothing to sell and nobody to sell it to.
No social or video embeds. Links to other sites are plain links, which load nothing until you click them.
No third-party fonts or scripts. The two typefaces are served from this site, so no font CDN learns that you visited. Every script on the page is a file in the same repository as the page.
No A/B testing, no session replay, no heatmaps.

Verify it yourself

Nothing here should be taken on trust. Open your browser's developer tools (F12, or Cmd‑Option‑I) and look:

The Application (or Storage) tab: cookies, local storage and session storage are all empty for this domain.
The Network tab: every request goes to this domain. Nothing is fetched from anywhere else.

The source of this page is public, so you can also just read it.

Elsewhere

Cookies are somebody else's business as soon as you leave. Clicking through to GitHub or Buy Me a Coffee puts you on their sites, under their cookie policies, and what happens there has nothing to do with this one. If this ever changes

It is not planned to. If something on this site ever does need to store data on your device, this page will say what and why before it happens, and anything non-essential will ask you first — properly, with a real choice and a real "no".
